The extended sample hasn't been approved yet, can I start recording the full book?
No, you should not begin recording the full audiobook until your extended sample has been approved!
Please wait until the author approves the sample before moving ahead. This protects you from having to re-record large portions of the performance if the author decides to change a stylistic element or did not agree with a certain element.
It can often take 1-2 weeks for the author to provide feedback. If you're needing more urgent feedback, please indicate that's the case on the Findaway Voices website, or let our team know.
We're always open to discussing a production deadline extension due to late approval to ensure you have ample time to complete the performance to the best of your ability
