How to Add Narrators Directly to Casting Lists

How to Add Narrators Directly to Casting Lists

Authors are now able to add narrators directly to their casting list on their Findaway Voices project from a Narrator Profile, using the Add to Casting List button. This means authors no longer have to wait for our casting team to add narrators to their projects' casting list.

This article will provide instructions for adding narrators directly to a casting list, as well as creating a new audiobook project from a Narrator Profile.

The following projects can have narrators added directly to them:
  1. Standard Audiobook Productions (I.e. Work With a Narrator)
    1. Project must not already have an assigned Narrator
Voices Share projects cannot add narrators directly to their projects' casting list

Add Narrator to Casting List of Existing Standard Audiobook Production Project

On a Narrator Profile, you will see the following area:

Simply click the teal Add to Casting List button to load a list of your projects you can add the narrator to the casting list for.

Select the project you want to add the Narrator, and the narrator will be added to that project's casting list. From there, you can request an Audition from the Narrator, or choose to book them as the selected Narrator for your audiobook production.

Don't have an existing audiobook project started? Not to worry, follow along below to instructions on how to create a new project from the Narrator Profile.

Create New Project & Add Narrator to Casting List

To create a new project from the Narrator Profile, Simply click the teal Add to Casting List button and at the bottom of the list, there will be an option to + Create New Project

Select this option to create a new audiobook project, and add the selected Narrator to the newly created projects' casting list.

If you'd like our casting director to add more hand recommended Narrators to your casting list, you can choose to fill out a Casting Questionnaire, when creating your new audiobook project and adding a narrator to its casting list.

If you decide to skip the Casting Questionnaire, you can always complete it later from your Casting List tab.
