How do I create/edit my Authors Direct storefront?

Sign up for Authors Direct

First, make sure you've signed up for Authors Direct. How do I sign up for Authors Direct?

Create your storefront

Navigate to the Authors Direct Dashboard under the Store Creation tab. Click Create Your Storefront button. 

Fill in the following fields to build and customize your storefront: 

1. Title of Storefront: Most use their author name/pen name here. Use what your customers would recognize most.
   
2. Upload banner image: Ideal sizing is 2048px x 600px. Accepted file formats: PNG, JPG/JPEG, TIFF.
   
3. Upload small logo: Ideal sizing is 250px x 100px. Accepted file formats: PNG, JPG/JPEG, TIFF. 
   
4. Social link (i.e. Newsletter signup, social media link, main website): Include the full URL starting with http://
   
5. Social link anchor text: Anchor text is the clickable (often blue) text in a hyperlink. Example: Visit my website, Sign up for my newsletter, etc.
   
6. Short Bio: Simple HTML is accepted but not required. Please do not enter dynamic HTML or URL links in this field. 
   

Click Submit to upload your store assets and create your storefront. 

After your storefront is created, the live URL will be available under the Store Details section of the dashboard.

Editing Storefront

You can edit your storefront assets at any time from the Authors Direct dashboard. Click the Edit Storefront button on the Authors Direct dashboard. Remember to submit your changes before navigating away.
